| Özet |
| The subject of this study, which plays a key role in the economic and social development of destinations in the city tourism, the city has attracted to the foreground serves the tourist activities. One of the major destinations of Turkey's tourism activities take place densely in Fethiye, where has a great potential for urban tourism in terms of its location and attractiveness. The aim of this study is, evaluation of Fethiye's city tourism potential from the point of view of private tour captains. The study is conducted with 61 captains by using face to face interview technique which is one of the qualitative interview techniques. Data are analyzed by Nvivo program. The results of the study indicate that Fethiye has a high tourism potential but this potential cannot be completely realized due to the deficiencies specific to the city. In line with the findings of the analyzes, some suggestions have been presented in terms of eliminating the mentioned negativities. |
