| Özet |
| This research aims to determine mathematics teachers' perceptions about effective communication skills in the classroom and to compare their perceptions according to their socio-demographic characteristics (gender, faculty graduation, professional experience). The participants of the quantitative survey model research consist of 166 mathematics teachers working in Anatolian high schools affiliated with the Antalya Province National Education Directorate.“Personal Information Form” and “Effective In-Class Communication Skills Perception Scale” were used as data collection tools in the research. In the study, it was determined that the perceptions of mathematics teachers regarding the skills of active listening, effective speaking, empathy, and effective use of body language were quite high.
