| The chaotic situation raises due to transition and insecurity causes that individuals lose their knowledge and abilities. Degeneration of rituals, values and technologies getting practise of life to people is the cause of traumas and depersonalizations. Gaps like these trigger the sense of nostalgia and the necessity of finding consolation to best-known places, goods and memories. In this study Altınköy which is implemented by the Project of Altınköy Open Air Museum and an example of collective nostalgia is reviewed as a case study. A survey form with openended questions being appropriate to the method of semi structured interview is used in the study. In this context researchers interviewed with the Deputy Mayor of Altınköy Municipality, the head of Museum and those authorised of the Project such as the Agricultural Engineer, the Organizer of Entertainment and the person in charge of the museum. As a result Altınköy has a favorable capacity for different kinds of tourism. The fact that inauguration hasn’t been occurred yet, there hasn’t been much activity and tourism has still been in its infancy there. Although activities of publicity haven’t been begun yet, Altınköy Open Air Museum was visited almost by73.000 tourists. In this museum where is reminded of a village life, agriculture and livestock activities are sustained with traditional methods, natural products are cultivated and allowed visitors to buy these products as well. |
