| In this paper, we study spacelike maximal and timelike minimal surfaces of revolution by using any planar spacelike and timelike profile curve in Minkowski 3-space and obtain various differential equations which characterize the profile curve of such surfaces. Also we gave some examples of spacelike maximal and timelike minimal surfaces of revolution. © 2012 Pushpa Publishing House. |
