Abstract
The aim of this study is revealing the perception of organizational politics impacts on
organizational trust and turnover intention on 4-5 stars hotel employees who work in cities of Bucharest and
Ankara, and comparing their perspectives which come from two different cultural background. Turkey
sample consists of 407 (n=407) 4-5 stars hotel employees from Ankara, who volunteer to participate.
Romania sample consists of 402 (n=402) 4-5 stars hotel employees from Bucharest, who volunteer to
participate. The data have collected by different surveys. Collected data have analyzed by statistical
programme methods such as exploratory factor analysis (efa) and multiple regression analysis. According to
the findings in this research, it has been found that general political behavior and co-workers behavior as the
dimensions of organizational politics perception had a negative effect on organizational trust for both Turkey
and Romania samples. However, it has been observed that promotion-pay administration as the dimension of
organizational politics perception does not have a significant effect on organizational trust for both Turkey
and Romania samples. In addition, according to the findings in this research, it has been determined that
general political behavior and co-workers behavior as the dimensions of organizational politics perception
have a positive effect on turnover intention for both Turkey and Romania samples. However, it has not been
found a significant effect of promotion-pay dimension of organizational politics perception on turnover
intention for Turkey sample and it has been found that promotion-pay dimension of organizational politics
perception has a possitive effect on turnover intention for Romania sample
