Özet |
2 royal jelly or 10% fetal calf serum supplemented TCM-199 under a humidified atmosphere of 5% CO2 at 39 C for 22 h. In vitro nuclear maturation ratio (Metafaz-II) of oocytes matured in 10% honeybee royal jelly supplemented group was 78% while that of matured in 10% fetal calf serum supplemented group was 77%(P> 0.05). Following maturation and parthenogenetic activation of metafaz II stage oocytes, 36% of oocytes matured in 10% honeybee royal jelly supplemented group and 42% of oocytes matured in 10% fetal calf serum supplemented group were observed to develop to two-cell and beyond at 48 h post activation in a granulosa monolayer co-culture (P> 0.05). In conclusion, it has been observed that 10% honeybee royal jelly can be used successfully as protein source in in vitro maturation of cattle oocytes. |
