Özet
Abstract The Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) strategy involves students revealing the results of the predictions, discussing the reasons for their predictions, putting forth the observations, and eventually explaining the variance between the observation and prediction. Studies have uncovered that the POE strategy is substantially used in science education, yet a few studies have been conducted in relation to mathematics education. One of the topics that can be taught through this strategy is geometric location problems. Since the related literature has revealed that prospective teachers try to make their predictions using a few points and they could not realize a complete experience process for the accuracy of their thinking.
