Özet
The aim of this study is to compare the Turkish and English language teaching programs as foreign languages in terms of basic foundations and implementation methods. This study, which utilizes a descriptive scanning method, utilizes the data sources of the Turkish Language Teaching Program as a Foreign Language (2020), the English Course Teaching Program (Elementary School and Middle School Grades 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8) (2018), and the High School English Course (Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12) Teaching Program currently published and in effect by the Ministry of National Education. Through document analysis, it has been revealed that the Turkish Language Teaching Program as a Foreign Language (2020) has a greater diversity and currency of basic foundations compared to the English Teaching Programs. Furthermore, in terms of implementation methods, the Turkish Language Teaching Program as a Foreign Language (2020) is more detailed.
