| Özet |
| The main objective of this descriptive study is to assess the degree of fulfillment of practices related to patient confidentiality in hospitals in the context of SKS, from the perspective of health professionals. The study was carried out by using a questionnaire provided to 471 medical staff working at 2 university hospitals, 4 government hospitals and 9 private hospitals in Konya, Turkey, in 2015. In order to collect data, the "Health Care Institutions' patient confidentiality practices questionnaire", which was developed by researchers with the help of the SKS guide, was used. There are 8 topics with 47 questions in the questionnaire. The data obtained from the questionnaire was entered into SPSS 20.0. Descriptive statistics and chi-square test were used on the data.
