Özet
This research was conducted through a qualitative research method using a document. In the analysis of the data obtained from the research, inductive analysis was used from the types of content analysis. In this study, one of the purposeful sampling methods which the easily accessible case sampling method, was used. The data are tabulated at the class level for the 20 existing values in the social studies curriculum.When the social studies teacher guide books are examined according to their values in terms of proverb, idiom and byword;In the books, there are a maximum of 65 bywords, 38 idiom and 6 proverbs.It is seen that the proverbs, idioms and bywords are not included in the units where the values of solidarity, patriotism and hospitality pass through as a result of the examination.
