| This research was conducted at the 3-tiered individual cages with the aim of determining the effects of cage tiers on some production characteristics as well as interrelated relationships of these characteristics. Lambs were placed 120 cm from the cage at the middle-tier level to provide light intensity of 4 watt/m2. A total of 120 brown laying hens (ATAK-S), including 40 hens at each tier, aged 16 weeks, were used in experiment. Research was continued until 30 weeks of age. There were no differences among cage tiers in terms of sexual maturity weight, sexual maturity age, egg yield, egg weight, live weight (P>0,05).
