Özet
The chemical composition of fruits from 25 walnut genotypes in Erzincan district, Turkey, was studied. The genotypes had a protein content of 13.74-22.34%, oil content of 48.97-66.45%, and dry matter content of 94.67-97.81%. The ash content reached 1.69-2.24%. The N, P and K contents were 2.05-3.33%, 199.9-272.3 mg/100 g, and 266.8-639.7 mg/100 g, respectively. The genotypes registered a Ca content of 185.3-902.4 mg/100 g, Mg content of 178.7-577.1 mg/100 g, and Na content of 0.31-42.76 mg/100 g. The Fe (1.99-8.38 mg/100 g), Mn (2.36-6.37 mg/100 g), Zn (1.83-4.57 mg/100 g), Cu (0.93-3.33 mg/100 g), Cd (0.001-0.018 mg/100 g) and Pb (0.049-0.064 mg/100 g) contents were also evaluated.
