Özet
Nuclear data underpin a comprehensive understanding of nuclear processes. Fission cross section data are in particular essential for various nuclear applications, especially energy generation, waste transmutation, and radiation shielding. In this study, proton-induced fission cross sections were calculated for selected actinide and sub-actinide isotopes such as 238, 235U, 232Th, and 209Bi, as well as isotopes of lead (208,207,206,204 Pb) and tungsten (186,184,183,182W) and 181Ta, which are frequently utilized in accelerator-driven systems (ADS). Two nuclear reaction codes were employed: CEM03.03, based on the Cascade-Exciton Model, and TALYS 2.0, which incorporates three different level density models: the Constant Temperature Model (CTM), the Back-Shifted Fermi Gas Model (BSFGM), and the Generalized Superfluid Model (GSM).
