| Irrigation projects prepared for the purpose of protecting, developing, and utilizing soil and water resources aim to increase agricultural production value and maximize farmers’ income. Therefore, the suitability of irrigation networks for irrigation activities can be monitored, evaluated, and assessed using appropriate irrigation performance indicators. This study was conducted between 2018 and 2024 to evaluate the irrigation performance indicators of the Sıdıklı Irrigation Association’s irrigation area in Kırşehir Province in terms of water distribution, financial efficiency, and production efficiency. In this study, irrigation performance was evaluated by examining the irrigation rate, water supply rate, irrigation fee collection rate, return on investment, irrigation scheme personnel density, and some performance parameters. According to the results of the study, the average values were found to be: irrigation rate 26.61%, amount of water distributed to the irrigated unit area 1114, 64 m 3/ha, amount of water distributed to the actually irrigated area 4133, 58 m 3/ha, water supply rate 0.88, and average return on investment 39, 71%. The water fee collection performance in the irrigation schemes averaged 63%, number of personnel per irrigation area 165 ha/person to 542 ha/person. Production performance indicators show that the production value per unit of irrigated area ranged from 20, 69$/ha to 74, 09$/ha, while the production value per unit of actually irrigated area ranged from 34.140, 11$/ha to 108.540, 33$/ha, and the production value per unit of water ranged from 0, 00091$/m³ to 0, 0017$/m³. |
