BackgroundData on the effectiveness of Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, one of the mobilization methods, in Distal Radius Fracture rehabilitation are quite limited.PurposeThe aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization on pain, range of motion and edema, grip strength and functionality in patients who underwent surgery with open reduction and internal fixation due to Distal Radius Fracture.Study DesignRandomized controlled blinded trial.MethodsForty-eight patients who underwent open reduction and internal fixation with volar plate due to Distal Radius Fracture were randomized into two groups as Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and control group.
