Özet
This study presents a different perspective on the application of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in treating damaged skeletal muscle. The effect of intramuscular application of MSCs with Boric acid (BA) was evaluated physiologically, histologically, and biochemically. MSCs treatment has the potential to enhance muscular regeneration. The beneficial effects of Boric Acid have been reported in various clinical studies. Thirty Wistar albino rats (female) were distributed into six equal groups (n= 6): Control, Exercise (Ex), MSCs+ Ex, BA+ Ex, MSCs+ BA+ Ex, Ex+ MSCs+ BA, and 5 female Wistar rats were used for bone marrow MSCs isolation. Exhaustive swim exercise was applied for 15 days in 3 periods, and the exhaustion time was measured every day. The BA dose that provides cell viability was investigated in cell culture. BM-MSCs (1x106/1ml) were injected intramuscularly in the gastrocnemius muscle with BA ...
