Özet
Background: In patients post-COVID-19, the amount of oxygen going to the muscles decreases due to arterial hypoxemia caused by the pulmonary system. Musculoskeletal problems, peripheral muscle weakness, fatigue, and exercise intolerance occur. The effects of inspiratory muscle strength training (IMST), muscle oxygenation, exercise capacity, muscle strength, and fatigue are not adequately investigated.Aim: To investigate the effects of IMST on muscle oxygenation, functional exercise capacity, peripheral muscle strength, and fatigue in patients post-COVID-19 syndrome with pulmonary involvement.Methods: A randomized, controlled, triple-blinded study.
