| Özet |
| Cities are not only buildings, streets, avenues and parks; they are also spaces where social relations, cultural dynamics and power fights are concentrated. Therefore, cities are shaped not only by their physical structures but also by the public spaces they contain and the social fights that take place in these spaces. Don Mitchell's book The Right to the City: Social Justice and the Fight for Public Space delves deeper into this complex structure and questions how cities become sites of social production. Focusing on the concept of the right to the city, Mitchell reveals the critical role of public spaces in the fight for social justice. Opening a door for readers to explore the invisible faces of cities and understand the dynamics of fights for social equality, this work invites a journey that pushes the boundaries of urban theory and activism. |
