| Özet |
| Various infectious diseases, which affect human history globally, not only affect societies in terms of health, economic, political and cultural aspects, but also can cause the formation of various polarizations or the deepening of existing polarizations and the shaping of social perceptions. In this context, the Covid-19 epidemic, which first emerged in China in December 2019, not only deepened the economic and social inequality between classes, but also affected the formation of various perceptions against some social groups, especially disadvantaged groups, or played an important role in further deepening of existing perceptions. For this reason, the aim of this research is to reveal whether Covid-19 affects the perceptions of Syrians and Şanlıurfa people, based on field research data, and to reveal the role of Covid-19 in the formation of social perceptions towards Syrians.
