Özet
This study aimed to evaluate the role of religion and spirituality in coping with stigmatization in individuals who commit homicide using a phenomenological approach. In the analysis of the data, two themes (the effects of committing crime on the individual, thoughts on the role of spirituality in coping with stigmatization) and six sub- themes (spiritual, social, physical, stigmatization, spirituality and coping) were identified. As a result of the study, it was determined that individuals who commit crimes are psychosocially affected very negatively and experience stigmatization due to the situation they experience.
