| Özet |
| The relationship between the city and its users, based on mutual interaction, is complex and multifaceted. The physical and social structure of the city is shaped by the preferences of the people who experience it. In this sense, public spaces are the foremost urban spaces. Thus, the main issue that needs to be addressed is why individuals and society choose public spaces. In this context, in the study the scientific development of the subject in the field was evaluated.Aim: The purpose of the study is to reveal data regarding the changes in publications in the relevant field over the years, the most published journals, the most influential articles, and the distribution of authors by country.Method: In this study, bibliometric analysis was used as a method to master the existing literature in the field of research and examine the performance, status, and relationships of scientific studies.Results: The existing literature was evaluated using performance analysis and scientific mapping methods according to various parameters, and relationship networks were revealed. The research and publication performance of authors, sources, and countries were evaluated.Conclusion: The conceptual dimensions and dynamics of the subject were determined by evaluating the findings. The results draw attention to the role of people and society in sustainable and livable urban planning. |
