A series of propargylic tertiary alcohols decorated with an sp 2-hybridised nitrogen donor were kinetically resolved by reagent-controlled dehydrogenative Si-O coupling with a strained, highly reactive silicon-stereogenic cyclic silane. © The Royal Society of Chemistry.
