Özet |
The aim of this study was to investigate the incidence of the accessory infraorbital foramen (A/F) and to make the mesaurements involving infraorbital foramen (! F) and AIF in human skulls. A! Fs were observed in nine of 42 skulls (21.4%). The shortest distance of the most superior margin of IF to the margo infraorbitale was 0.80.±0.02 em and to the apertura priformis was 1.57±0.03 em. On the right side the! Fs were found most commonly on the sagittal plane passing through the supraorbital notch-foramen (80%). On the left side the location was 0.56±0.05 em lateral to the same plane (78.1%). The difference of the locations on that plane of the! Fs between the right and the left sides were statistically significant (p< 0.001). The distance between the IF and AIF was found to be 0.90±0.14 em. The A! Fs were found 0.51±0.12 em medial and 0.52±0.14 em superior to the! F. The mean diameter of IF was determined to be 0 ... |
