Özet
In the present study, because of particular importantance in case of the compression syndrome of the suprascapular nerve, morphometric measurements of the scapular notches were done. 75 dry scapulae with unknown age and sex obtained from the Departments of Anatomy at Cumhuriyet University and Erciyes University recruited into study. Scapular notches were classified into six groups according to their notch morphology. Shallow and wide notches (Type 3) were the majority (29.33%), deep and narrow (Type 2) were the minority (5.33%). Mean of the most deep distance between the supraglenoidal tubercule and scapular notche was 26+ 2.78 mm and the notch width was 7, 26+ 3, 60 mm and depth was 5, 30+ 3, 37 mm.
