Özet |
The paper deals with the applicability of teaching through presentation strategy of the chemistry teachers working in Central Anatolia region in Turkey. The subject group is composed of 50 chemistry teachers working in Ankara, Kırıkkale, Sivas, Aksaray and Kırșehir, located in Central Anatolia region in Turkey. Assessment-questionnaire was developed by us and used as a tool to collect data. Share (%) and frequency were used as indices. According to the data obtained, a share of 30% of the group is not informed on applicable information about teaching through presentation strategy. We revealed that more than one fourth of teachers do not know the features of applicable information. There are deficiencies and malfunctions of applicability of teaching through presentation strategy, which is accepted as an ideal strategy that can be used to teach phenomenon and to make generalizations in science.
