| An experiment was conducted with an aim of determining the effects of feeding Ferula eleachytris root powder on the egg production (HH) as well as egg quality and hatchability traits in turkey hens. 92 hens were used in this study and were divided into two equal groups, the first group served as control (diet contains 14% CP, 2900 kcal ME/kg) and the second group was given the same diet as the control supplemented with 5% of F. eleachytris root powder. After 6 weeks of feeding, results showed that the supplemented group produced more eggs at 41.80% as compared with the control with 36.46%. No significant difference however was observed on egg weight and egg shell thickness (P>0.05) between the two treatments.
