| BackgroundKnee osteoarthritis (OA), one of the most common causes of disability worldwide, can have a negative impact on a person’s physical and emotional well-being and cause pain, stiffness, swelling, and loss of normal joint function [1]. Furthermore, OA symptoms and other mobility problems like fear of movement can lead to difficulties with using the toilet and a delay in urination at an appropriate time [1,2].
