Determination of Milk Composition of Brown Swiss Cows Raised in Different Village Conditions Yildizeli District of Sivas Province

Özet
In the present research, it was purpose of the determine milk composition and the some factors effecting on milk components in raw milk samples of Brown Swiss cattle raised at different village conditions Yildizeli district of Sivas province in Turkey. In this study milk samples of Brown Swiss cattle were collected at morning milking in months of May and November in year 2012. Data were evaluated by parity, farm and villages by SPSS 17.1 packet program. Milk samples were taken in the morning. Milk samples were collected during the year 2012 in November and May. As a result, dry matter, non fat dry matter, fat, protein and lactose were %13.62 +/- 0.169%, 7.94%+/- 0.102%, 5.67 +/- 0.147%, 3.07 +/- 0.064% and 4.16 +/- 0.052, respectively.
As a conclusion, the effect of village and farm on milk components were statistically significant (P<0.05). The effect of parity on protein, fat and lactose content were significant (P<0,05). But, dry matter and non fat dry matter content were not effected by parity (P>0.05).
