| Economic policies generally encompass fiscal and monetary policies. The fundamental objective of these policies is to foster sustainable economic growth, enhance employment, and maintain stability in price levels, interest rates, exchange rates, and financial markets. Fiscal policy, managed and regulated by governments, involves intervention in the economy through taxation and public expenditures. In contrast, monetary policy, implemented by central banks, encompasses the strategies and decisions aimed at managing macro-financial risks and achieving goals such as price and financial stability through various instruments. The effectiveness of central banks in achieving their objectives relies on the accurate assessment of the impacts of these policies on the economy.
