Özet |
This research was conducted to evaluate the Document Management System (pronounced as DYS), which is used as a management information system in the Ministry of National Education (pronounced as MEB), according to the opinions of school administrators. The research was carried out using the phenomenology design, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The data were collected at the end of the 2020-2021 academic year with a semi-structured interview form. The study group of the research consists of 25 school administrators, 23 male and 2 female, working in Kozaklı district of Nevşehir province between the 2020-2021 academic year and the 2021-2022 academic year. The analysis of the data was made using the descriptive analysis method. As a result of the research, it is seen that school administrators have generally positive opinions about DYS, however, some problems are encountered in the use of DYS, and school administrators have opinions that DYS should be improved. Majority of school administrators consider DYS’s technology and interface sufficient. In addition, it has been concluded that the number of school administrators who argue that the problems encountered in the use of DYS are external problems. As a systemic limitation of DYS, the “signing” feature is one of the problems that the school administrators who use the system focus on the most. Therefore, based on the research, it is recommended to use the system on mobile devices by using mobile signature instead of e-signature |
