Özet |
This book, Diplomacy, Society and the COVID-19 Challenge, critically examines the state of security comprehension in 2023, taking into account the pandemic. It addresses emerging security problems and explores novel responses to them. The book provides a comprehensive overview of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on International Relations. It offers timely responses to current affairs and policy debates by presenting various perspectives from different nations and in-depth case studies. The book discusses the challenges posed by the pandemic and how societies and states handled them through diplomacy. While the pandemic’s catastrophic effects are reducing, world politics remain unpredictable due to issues such as the Ukraine-Russian War, global economic challenges, climate change, and regional problems. This book raises the question of “Quo Vadis?" or “where are we going?" There is still a long road ahead, but the world will eventually recover from the political, economic, and sociological effects of COVID-19. |
