| Many countries entered 21st century raising attention to skills young generation needed to gain for their future. Using the information and communication technologies (ICTs) in everyday education with the aim of improving our learning abilities is important. However, future societies need a better social life and many new jobs opportunities. Future jobs are mostly linked with networks, working online, virtual environments, continuous learning, collaboration–all about problem solving and deeper thinking beyond ICTs. Focusing on computational thinking, Computer Science or Informatics education at schools can help to reach these goals.Science education in upper secondary schools is entering the fifth decade of its existence in the world.
