Özet
Time and time management are continuously evaluated important subjects. In general, most of the people complain most of the time from short of time, non-finishing work, non-completing programs in their daily life. Time is a limited resource. But forms of use of time are not limited. All types of work and service to be done requires use of time. Today time management in professional work life is one of the elements of individual and institutional success (Koch, 1998). Some of the definitions of time are as follows: Time is a period measured with clock, long or short according to human life, continuous impossible to repeat, its beginning and end specific (Tezcan, 1987). Time is perception of events and facts in order one after the other. Time is a process that we measure events. Time is impossible to hold, impossible to slowdown, impossible to start from the beginning and equal a unique resource to everybody. To use time properly is to use life properly and take efficient results. Successful human is human using time properly (Büyükalan Filiz, 2011). Time is an abstract concept. The period required to do a specific work may be defined time concept (Açıkalın, 1998). In order to understand time better, features of time are given below (Döş, 2014). Features of Time1. The value of time is priceless. 2. The concept of time cannot be fully understood. 3. Time cannot be replicated 4. Time is consumed only 5. Time flow cannot be slowed down, and precluded. 6. Time cannot be restored. 7. Time cannot be bought or rented. 8. Time is perceived and evaluated differently according to persons, physical environment and events.
