| In order to determine superior types within natural rosehip population, this study was carried out in the Lake Van Region between 1996 and 1998. Following determination the types in 1996, fruit samples were collected in 1997 and 1998, and several characteristics were evaluated for two years. In the samples of the first year, the values connected with fruit weight, fruit length, fruit width, seed length, seed width, seed weigth, pH and soluble solids were found between 1.00-2.93 g, 16.76-27.32 mm, 10.41-15.53 mm, 1.8-6.3 mm, 1.3-3.1 mm, 0.013-0.051 g, 3.30-5.50 and 12-37%, respectively |
