Özet |
Objective: Anthropometric characteristics, along with various mechanical and neurophysiological factors, can influence balance. This study aims to investigate the relationship between lower and upper extremity anthropometric measurements and dynamic/static balance in young adults. Methods: The study included 100 sedentary young adults aged 18-24 (55 females, 45 males). Individuals with neurological, cardiovascular, vestibular, orthopedic, and rheumatic diseases, as well as those with lower and upper extremity amputations and prosthetics, were excluded from the study. Anthropometric measurements were taken using a stadiometer, digital scale, and the Harpenden anthropometric set, while balance tests were conducted on a flat surface, on one foot, and on a bosu ball.
