Özet
In this research study, it is aimed to determine the situation of primary school students' children's books in terms of their physical structures, content and illustrations. In this context, one hundred children's books which published between the years of 2005 and 2009 made up the research sample through a random sampling method. As for the data analysis, frequencies and percentages were used. As a result of this research, it was found that the size of the books are almost the same, their bindings and covers are endurable, there aren't any subject variety, some important characters' features are not mentioned, some books do not include any messages and are full of grammar mistakes.
