| With the second generation of the Tanzimat period, new themes appeared in poetry. One of the pioneers of the change in theme is Abdulhak Hamid Tarhan. The poet who visited many countries thanks to his profession, recognizes nature to places like Poti, Rize, India. This acquaintance is significant both on account of Hamid's poem comprehension and the Turkish literature. Because Hamid's poems have new nature sense. When the poet went countries such as England, Lahey, Paris, longing nature appears his poems. Townsman-villager contrast appears in Hamid's poems. Hamid doesn't regard nature only as a poem material. It is obvious that nature shape Hamid's feeling and idea as far as his memory and letters are considerd. The poet sincerely expresses self nature idea to be presented with analysis and detection in memory and letters. This study aims to execute Hamid's view on nature along with his emotions and ideas in his memories and letters. |
