Özet
As a result of the four-fold increase in the human population in the last century and the development of technology and industry, the use of natural resources, environmental protection, sustainability and the evaluation of waste materials have become one of the most important agenda items. The construction industry has also been affected by these developments, and in the last twenty years, studies have been carried out on the use of alternative binding materials instead of cement. Geopolymer production is one of the methods seen as an alternative to cement. Geopolymer production has given very positive results in terms of controlling CO2 emissions, evaluating waste materials, and protecting natural resources.
