(Melopsittacus undulatus), a member of the parrot family, is native to Australia. Due to their
appearance, they are fed intensively as a pet animal (Wyndham, 1980). The original colors
are light green. It was first domesticated in England in 1850 and then scattered throughout the
world. The variety of colors in budgerigars is composed of two basic color series, blue and
green. In budgerigars, all colors and patterns are occured by the change of these two series.
