Özet
Discussion/Conclusion: Several congenital cardiac anomalies are associated with PAA (more than 50%). Primary and more frequently secondary pulmonary hypertension (66%) is an important factor of the pathogenesis for PAA. The optimal management of PAA is not well defined. Therefore multiple imaging techniques are required for the diagnosis of PAA. TTE is considered to be the best technique for detection of PAA in routine cardiac management. However this technique is not adequate at is shows the course of the pulmonary artery brunches, and differentiates from adjacent structure. MDCT can determine the location of aneurysm and the diameter of the main and peripheral brunches of pulmonary artery system. Giant PAA should be considered-in late complications of the uncorrected ASD. Echocardiography may be the first choice of method in patients with PAA; however MDCT, which can better …
