Özet |
Egg size is very important factor for hatchability performance. Abnormal size eggs decrease efficiency at hatchability. In this study, 1700 quail eggs were used. For this purpose, all of the eggs were divided into five groups according to their weights. Water losses of eggs were determined 5-10 and 15 day of incubation. All data were recorded and analysed using SPSS (16.0) statistical program. The differences between sub groups means were investigated by Duncan’s multiple range test. Dehydration levels of group A (smallest eggs) increased in fifth, tenth and fifteenth day of incubation (P< 0.05). As a result, especially on tenth and fifteenth days of incubation, the weight of eggs showed to increase linearly with decreasing water loss. |
