Özet
It is known that employees experience stress due to the responsibilities of their work. Stress negatively affects employees not only physically but also psychologically. Organizational stress has serious effects on employee performance. The most important of these effects are the decrease in employees' commitment to their organizations and the increase in their intention to quit. For this reason, increasing employees' commitment to their organizations will reduce their intention to quit. In this study, it was examined whether organizational commitment has a mediating effect on the relationship between organizational stress and intention to leave. Bootstrap method was used to analyze the mediating effect. The research was conducted with 212 academic staff.
