| ConclusionsHigh conductivities require a high sulfonation degree, but lead to increasing swelling in contact with water. Blending with organic polymers yields improved mechanical properties at least at temperatures below 60 C. Mixed substitution patterns with aryl and CF 3 CH 2 O substitutents yielded promising results. The best properties were obtained with these and with cross-linked membranes. |
