| In this study, the readiness levels of the students who have just enrolled a university that normally provides face-to-face education, on distance education because of the pandemic were investigated and their views on the process were taken. The study group consists of 305 first year students who have just enrolled in the faculty of education at a state university. In this study, in which the mixed research approach was adopted, descriptive analysis was used in the analysis of quantitative data, and content analysis was used in the analysis of qualitative data. As a result of the study, it was observed that students 39; level of readiness for distance education was high; significant differences were obtained according to gender, department, time spent using the computer, and reading books.
