Con-sidering the first 50 issues published between March 1961-June 1965 of the maga-zine, it may be seen that diversity and versatility are reflected in a way specific to the magazine, tradition of the institute are addressed in detail by the persons who come from this tradition. İmece which gives place to many literary, political and social articles has the capacity to meet resource need of historians, sociologists and litterateurs, having many change and transformation dynamics of the first years of 1960s. The society themed articles such as village institutes, village and peasant, economy, secularism, education problems, children, public and teacher concepts, discussion of highbrowed, land and land reform, etc. assists forproviding a de-tailed point of view regarding the period. With this study we have made on İmece which gains value with the contributions of important authors like Talip Apaydın, Şevket Süreyya Aydemir, Arif Gelen, Dursun Akçam, Behzat Ay, Edib S. Balkır, M. Başaran, Sabahattin Eyuboğlu, Azra Erhat, Nabi Dinçer, Ceyhun Atuf Kansu, Kemal Karpat, Yaşar Kemal, Fay Kırby, Samim Kocagöz, Ahmet Köklügiller, Mahmut Makal, Nermin Menemencioğlu, Aziz Nesin, Sami N. Özerdim, Tahsin Saraç, Suat Taşer, Engin Tonguç,Pakize Türkoğlu, Cavit Orhan Tütengil, and Can Yücel, it is targeted both to present the bibliographical masthead of the articles which are focused on social subject and to reveal formal features of the magazine. Thanks to this, access to resource by the social scientists making analysis of the pe-riod will be made more systematic and it shall also be possible to reach a conclu-sion about Turkey in years 1961-1965.
