Özet |
Railway lines that have been a functional step for history of transportation have been a key innovation on behalf of improvement of the civilization. Railways lines were born in England by means of British agricultural revolution and industrial revolution. This progress which began in England in 1825 ended up with construct-ing new railroads lines in various countries like USA, France, Belgium, Germany, İtaly and Russia. This innovation that was shaped in Europe was spread to all of the Word after some time. However, capitalism, imperialism and colonialism pre-destined for railways lines in Far-East, Middle-East and Africa in the 1860s. Rail-road lines which constructed in this areas were controlled by capitalist companies or imperialist countries. The Ottoman State comprehended instantly importance of the railroads. Policy of the railroads that begun with construction of the İskenderi-ye-Kahire Line in 1851 continuedincreasingly during in the nineteenth century. Even though The Ottoman Railroads mostly aimed for central authority destiny of the lines shaped by capitalist companies or imperialist countries. Adventure of the Rumelia Railroads which begun with construction of the Köstence-Çernovada Lines in 1857 was affected by ottomanism policy. The first railways line in Anato-lia was constructed by British between İzmir and Aydın in 1860 but Anatolian Railroads enlarged hardly to eastern territories with Berlin-BaghdadRailway. Ber-lin-Baghdad Railway made a major contribution Anatolian Hinterlands for new re-public’s first years by opening up both trade and policy. As we have noted before the railroads have been a significant position for healthy transportation and this progress can be pursued easily in magazines by researches. Enriched articles with statistical datum in magazines provide us a certain accumulation about railways lines. This accumulation concretise us qualification of the past railways lines.
