Özet
Migration is the movement of people from one area to another within a country (internal migration) or from one country to another country (international migration). Internal migration in Turkey is experienced for many years depending on the social and economic development. People are going to somewhere to find a job or better living standards. Especially, internal migration since 1950s has accelerated in Turkey. However, rural migration, which is defined as migration from villagers to urban centers, has begun to intensify with internal migration. It is still continuing this situation. In rural areas, the biggest source of income for people is agricultural production. However, agricultural production values are decreasing present day.
