Özet
Regression analysis is one of the widely used statistical methods not only in interpreting the functional relationship between dependent and independent variables but also determining the model that best describes the relationship between variables. Fuzzy linear regression analysis is a very useful method in predicting fuzzy outputs in cases where the assumptions of classical regression analysis are not met, when the number of observations is limited, and system structure has uncertainty. Fuzzy regression analysis, which provides a much more flexible perspective than classical regression analysis, is widely used in applied science. In fuzzy linear regression analysis, parameter estimation can be examined under two main headings. One of these parameter estimation methods is based on the mathematical programming and the other is based on the least squares method. In this study, different fuzzy linear regression analysis models based on mathematical programming were used to estimate live weight in goats by taking advantage of measured morphological characteristics. In this context; fuzzy linear regression models have been included in the analyses to generate fuzzy prediction interval for live weight values of small ruminants. In this study, Ozelkan method obtains the most successful estimates. The analyses have been performed with the MATLAB (R2016a). The accuracy of the models was calculated using the RMSE and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE).
