Özet
Methods: Case 1. A 6-year-old boy with severe haemophilia A and factor VIII inhibitor applied to hospital due to severe bicycle accident. The boy was unconsciousness when he was admitted to pediatric emergency unit. Cranial computed tomography (CT) scan revealed acute subdural haemorrhage and midline shift. rFVIIa (120 μg kg-1) were given immediately to the patient before surgery. The haemorrhage was drained by neurosurgeons. Then treatment with rFVIIa (90 μg kg-1) repeated every 3 h for 3 doses resulted in cessation of bleeding, which was confirmed by control CT. Then rFVIIa was continued as every 6 h for 3 days. The patients did not experience recurrence of bleeding. The patient was discharged with a prophylactic factor replacement program.Case 2.
