| Aim: The aim of the study is to evaluate the socio-demographic features and poverty levels of families who get social and economic supportMethod: In this study, quantitative research design is used. The population of the study consists of 593 families who get social and economic support from Meram Social Service Directorate. To determine the sample size, prepared table for sample is used, and according to table it is concluded that 234 families can represent the population. In the end, 246 families accepted to join the research are examined within the context of the study. At the first stage data was, by computerizing, controlled and mistaken data was edited. Statistical Analyses were done in computer environment.
